Final INNOPLATFORM Conference at the International Technology Fair in Thessaloniki!

TOPIC: Supporting Innovations in the Balkan Mediterranean Area

Innovations are important factor for improving the competitiveness of national economies in the Balkan Mediterranean area. Intensive innovative activities will significantly increase, if there is a favorable business climate, channels for cooperation, and strong internal capacities for introducing innovations in the enterprises.

At the conference Innoplatfrom team presented the outputs of the project Innoplatform: research, know-how and services for supporting innovations in SMEs, and to open up a discussion with all stakeholders in the Balkan Mediterranean Area on the most effective ways to support the capacities of SMEs.

In the afternoon session we discussed the trends in the support of the SME's innovative projects in the Balkan Mediterranean Area, taking into account the continuous European integration of the region. Representatives from Regional Governemnts, National Funds for Innovations and Technological parks were discussing at the Round table.
